Thermal Receipt PrinterThermal receipt printers are a type of
printer that imprints text and graphics on thermal paper by heating the paper.
After a transaction has been completed, it is common practise in point-of-sale
(POS) systems to print out receipts for the customer. Special thermal paper
with a heat-sensitive coating on one side is heated in thermal receipt printers
to produce receipts. The coating reacts and changes colour when the heated
print head comes into touch with the paper, producing the text and images on
the paper. They are perfect for usage in crowded retail settings since they can
print receipts fast and effectively. |
